Survival is a small Yorkshire Terrier kennel in Holland, owned by Tilly Jansen.

"My main aim was and still is, to show dogs of my own breeding of a high quality. My intention was to breed excellent dogs, with sound body’s, the correct coat texture and colours. But above all stands a healthy dog with an excellent character.
Our kennel was founded 1978. One of our first Yorkies was “Sinneljocht’s Ingeborg”. She was born in 1979
By that time I could not guess that she should become the foundation of our kennel. Sinneljocht’s Ingeborg made Survival Yorkshire terriers what it becomes today! All our present dogs do have Sinneljocht’s Ingeborg in their pedigree.
We are also very proud of the four generations home bred “Survival” Champions, we produced so far."

"This is their story. Ingeborg was mated to an English import stud dog Kellayly’s Master Sam. Out of this litter CAC winner “Lady Samantha of Survival” was born.
Another beautiful daughter of Sinneljocht’s Ingeborg is Junior Winner “Afrodite of Survival” (ex Magic Moment v.Anasor). Lady Samantha was mated to a son of World Ch. Ever Trouble of Millmoor, named Ch. Gregoire. Out of that litter was born at 13.february.1985 our first champion “Gregory of Survival”.
At the age of 15 months go got his first CAC and at the end of 1987 he gained the title Netherland Champion.
One of Gregory’s beautiful daughters is “Lady Lotus of Survival”. She became our second generation Champions. The titles she gained are very impressive. International Ch., Netherland Ch., Belgium Ch., German Ch., Dutch Winner 1989, Belgium Winner 1989, German Bundessieger 1989, German Junior Ch. 1988, Best Yorkie NYTC 1989.

Ch. Lady Lotus of Survival was mated to World Ch.Ever Trouble of Millmoor. This combination gave us our third generation home bred champion: Ch. Prosper of Survival. His titles are: European Ch., International Ch., Netherland Ch., German Ch., German VDH Ch., Luxembourg Ch., Dutch Winner 1994.

A half sister of Ch.Lady Lotus of Survival, named Fabulous Fleur of Survival was mated to Ch.Prosper of Survival. She gave us our fourth generation “Survival” Champions.
Netherland Champion and Dutch Clubwinner 1996 Ch. Sir Jeffrey of Survival, a look alike of his father Ch. Prosper of Survival."
