Mr. and Mrs. Vokalek live in Neškaredice, on a suburb to Kutna Hora in Czech Republic. They breed under the official kennel name YOKO VEKDAN.
„ We breed dogs since 1971, when we started with Poodles. We entered many shows in our country and even abroad. Years ago, during an International show in Budapest, we saw Yorkies for the first time and we fall in love imediately.
We bought our first Yorkie in 1985 from the STAR OF KARAN Kennel. Our bitch Nitouche Star of Karan was pretty successful at the shows.
In 1993 we imported bitch from the famous Italian breeder, Mrs Antonella Tomaselli.
Fantasia Delle Antiche Mura became International champion, champion of Czech, Slovak, Poland and Germany. In 1994 we brought one more yorkie from this kennel. It was Boom Boom Boom Delle Antiche Mura, who became International champion, champion of Czech, Slovak, Poland, Germany and. He was a great stud dog as well.
Later on we imported the bitch Lili Marleen de la Pam´Pommeraie. Lili is such a great foundation bitch. She gave us many very succesfull yorkies. In 1997 we mated Lilli to Shakespeare of Millmoor. From this breeding Acassius Yoko Vekdan was born. Top yorkie 2000, Czech junior champion, Czech and Polish champion and International champion.
Acassius´ litter sister Aurikel Yoko Vekdan, gave us another very successful dog Daniel Yoko Vekdan, who was sired by Camparis Blue Print.
Later on in 2000 we mated Lili to NicNak´s Country Sweety. From this connection a star was born – Henrietee Yoko Vekdan. Vice world winner, International champion, Czech and Slovak champion.
We cannot forget another imported dog - Camparis American Gigolo, who is sire of some successful yorkies both in our kennel as in others.
So far we have breed and own many Czech, Slovak and Polisch champions. We are very proud of our 4 International champions.
Our dogs are bred out of delle Antiche Mura, de la Pam´Pommeraie, Camparis and NicNak´s lines.
We spend lots of time with our yorkies and we would like to thank all our friends exhibitors, who took care about our puppies and brought them to the show titles.“
